Headshot Session Experience
The secret sauce of a great headshot is not the beautiful lighting nor the expensive camera equipment; it is the authentic facial expression. The headshot session experience is built around this notion of capturing the authentic facial expression. My studio provides the private space for you to relax, enjoy a beverage and feel comfortable.
There is no time limit on your headshot session. I will not keep you any longer than you need in creating your headshots, but I do not want you to ever feel rushed. You will receive the attention you deserve and need to create headshots that meet your needs. Lighting, posing, and composition are important, but the majority of time invested will be capturing your facial expression. You not only hired a headshot photographer, but you also hired me as your headshot facial expression coach. Everyone has a great facial expression, and I will coach you on how to display it.
Time Comes Last. Great Facial Expressions Come First.
It may take time to unlock that great facial expression. Some people feel uncomfortable in getting a headshot, and that’s okay. The expression we are after conveys confidence, determination, approachability and presence. We may achieve this quickly or it may take a bit longer to get there. Either way works as we have plenty of time. We have unlimited time for outfit changes/looks. I will coach you on all the details: expression, positioning, angles, clothing, hair, etc. The goal of the session is to capture great headshots, and I will spend as little or as long as needed in order to capture them. Throughout the session, You and I will review some of the images so you get a feel of what’s working or what needs to be changed.
At the end of the session, we will review all the images. You will select and purchase your favorites; I will provide you input as needed in selecting your best shots. You make the decision on how many images you want. Your purchased headshot images will be professional retouched and electronically delivered within 5-7 business days.
I am comitted to providing you the best headshot; one that works for you and makes you look great. A significant amout of my business is based on referrals. The goal is for you to leave the session with great headshots, and tell your people about your headshot experience.
